Our alumni have started hundreds of businesses around the world. They are innovating, creating change, and driving the future — and we want to tell you those stories.

WHAT IF… is a collection of conversations with entrepreneurs from the Belmont community, telling us the story behind their "what if" moment. We can't wait for you to listen.

Latino Emprendedor

Over the last decade, Latino entrepreneurs have continued to start small businesses at a rate 10 times faster than their non-Latino counterparts. In fact, nearly one in four new businesses are Latino owned.

Dr. Jose Gonzalez, a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Belmont University, and Dr. Frank Gonzalez, Vice President for Spanish Outreach at Crown Financial, joined forces to launch Latino Emprendedor — one of the few podcasts conducted exclusively in Spanish, crafted to reach Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and business owners.

Whether you already own and operate a business or you are exploring the idea of starting one, our hope is that Latino Emprendedor gives you the motivation, empowerment and information you need on your entrepreneurial journey.
